In case you’re wondering who we are and what we do, this is a clip of an introduction at a recent seminar.
Thank you so much for being here today! In this next hour this works much better if it’s more of a conversation than a presentation. I know you have burning questions about real estate. I’ve prepared some things that I think will be helpful for you to know and learn about. I also want to make sure that if you have questions we get them answered. Ask them as you think of them. I’ll address your questions as we go along.
My name is Lisa Dunn, and I am a recovering social worker. Now, my specialty is helping older adults downsize. Many of our clients are purchasing a home. They may be moving into a condominium, townhome or cooperative. More often than not by the time folks reach us they are ready to move into a senior housing community like Covenant Village. You know, after you’ve lived in a home for a lifetime – 30, 40, 50 years or more – the experience of downsizing and moving is very different compared to when you were 30 years old and purchasing your first home. That is why we developed this specialty of working with seniors. We think our clients deserve some creative problem solving and people who specialize in helping you downsize.
