Senior Living

The Waters on Mayowood sits on the former entrance to the farming estate of Dr. Charles and Edith Mayo.  With views of the Zumbro River, the private-pay community has two concierge service buildings.

For those not needing nursing care, there are luxury units with spacious kitchens, granite counters and stainless steel appliances designed for Independent Living.  (Over 65 percent of these 71 apartments are pre-leased.)  This joins a second residence of 70 Senior Living with Services, 20 Memory Care and 14 Enhanced Care apartments.

Assisted Living

The Waters offers separate memory care areas with a choice of studio and one-bedroom apartments at each of our Communities. We encourage memory care residents to get involved in the things they enjoy, but allow them to make choices about what they’d like to do and when they’d like to do it. We take the time to listen and learn each person’s preferences in terms of activity, socializing, eating and sleeping; and of course, we help family members stay involved and in touch.
