Independent living at Augustana Regent is all about choices. Health Care Services in Independent Living:

Independent Living includes 24-hour emergency response.  A variety of health care services are available to independent living residents for an additional fee. Please contact our registered nurse if you are in need of health care services.  We will work with you to develop a personalized care plan to fit your needs and independent lifestyle.

Assisted Living

Assisted living at Augustana Regent supports independence, dignity and choice through services tailored to the needs of each individual resident.  Apartments feature spacious kitchens, handicap accessible bathrooms and a variety of amenities.

Residents can enjoy peace of mind in an environment that lets them take advantage of new opportunities and experiences.  Available services such as individualized care plan, home care services, three meals daily, social services, dietician services, and weekly housekeeping help make life easier and more enjoyable.

Health Care Services in Assisted Living:

An array of health care services is offered twenty-four hours per day to meet assisted living residents’ unique needs and preferences.  Please contact our registered nurse if you are in need of health care services.  We will work with you to develop a personalized care plan to fit your needs and lifestyle.

Memory Care

Augustana Regent’s memory care uses a professional and focused approach for those with memory challenges. The memory cares suites offer a homelike environment, which consists of four suites, a central living room with a cozy fireplace, a home-style kitchen and dining area. This intimate and secure residential setting provides consistent support tailored to a resident’s cognitive needs.

Through specialized training and individual care plans, we partner with residents to maximize their skills and abilities, encouraging independence, enjoyment and opportunities for success.  On-site home care and therapy services provide convenient support for physical concerns, while a structured daily program includes exercise, music, crafts and more.  As with all Augustana Regent Programs, memory care also includes spiritual support for residents and families.

Care Suites

When a higher level of physical care is necessary, Augustana Regent’s eighteen care suite apartments offers reassurance and support. You will find the same amenities and services provided in traditional assisted living, enhanced by specialized features.  Staff is trained to provide focused, individualized attention to residents.

Assistance with daily activities like dressing, grooming, bathing and escort services are all included in the care suite package.  Caring professionals are close at hand 24 hours a day at a ratio of one to six residents.  Care suites may be the ideal solution for seniors challenged by chronic illness.

Respite Care

Respite Care is available for individuals who need a place to stay for a short period of time (seven day minimum) in assisted living or care suites. “Respite” refers to short term, temporary care and can be used when a caregiver needs a break from the daily routine of care giving or goes on vacation; and/or when it is not possible for a person to go directly home after a hospital or nursing home stay.

Health Care Services:

Individuals residing in our Respite Apartments receive all the services included in our Assisted Living and Care Suite programs, respectively, and will be opened to home care. Our home care nurse will provide a free assessment to determine cares and will work to develop a care plan tailored to your needs. The cost of home care services will be based upon our Assisted Living home care pricing prorated for the days you are residing here at Augustana Regent.
