Lakeville Senior Housing

Lakeville is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota, United States. It is a suburb of Minneapolis-Saint Paul, approximately 20 miles (32 km) south of both downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. Lakeville is one of the fastest-growing cities in the Twin Cities area. Lakeville lies along Interstate Highway 35. Lakeville first became notable in 1910 when Marion Savage built the Dan Patch Railroad Line to service his Antlers Amusement Park. It later became a flourishing milling center; its agriculture industry is still in operation. Minnetonka is a suburban city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States, eight miles (13 km) west of Minneapolis. The name comes from the Dakota Sioux mni tanka, meaning “great water”. The city is the home of Cargill, the country’s largest privately owned company, and UnitedHealth Group, the state’s largest publicly owned company. Since the mid-19th century, Minnetonka has evolved from heavily wooded wilderness through extensive farming and thriving industrialization to its present primarily residential suburban character.

North Saint Paul is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, located east-northeast of the city of Saint Paul. North Saint Paul is a distinct city, and not a neighborhood of nearby Saint Paul. Rosemount is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota, United States, in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Rosemount was established as a township in 1858 and incorporated as a city in 1972, encompassing the old village of Rosemount and Pine Bend. According to the city’s website, there was some debate over whether to name the township Saratoga or Rosemount, with the latter finally being chosen to reflect the town’s Irish heritage, and to remain in keeping with the name given to the post office a few years earlier.
